About blummy
blummy is a bookmark toolbar tool for quick access to your favorite web services.
It opens a small layer on the page you are viewing and runs small widgets, called blummlets,
that use JavaScript to provide rich bookmarklet-style functionality.
Your blummy can be shared between browsers and computers without installing a browser extension.
It can also include the blummyWiki, a personal notebook for storing textual information.
As with bookmarklets generally, unmoderated blummlets should be treated carefully because they run on
the page you open them on and often rely on external services. Never store passwords in blummlets,
not even private ones.
blummy was created by
Alex Kirk in 2005.

- 2020 - added backslash support for blummyWiki articles.
- 2026 - added support for pages with client-side Strict Content Security Policy (CSP), such as social networks and Google Forms.
